Tenure of the Project: Maximum duration of the project is for 2.5 years. At the beginning assignment will be for six months, which can later be extended every six months up to completion of project. The extension shall be solely based on satisfactory performance.

Essential Qualifications: M. Tech / M. E. (GATE qualified) in the area of power electronics and drives with two years of research experience.
Desirable: Analytical and experimental activities during M. Tech / Ph. D. for the development in power electronics and drives based system with concluding understanding, knowledge and experience with technical software / tools for the simulation studies. A hands on experience on electrical machines and power electronics converters design with its hardware assembly is desired. Added advantage will be given to those having knowledge of matrix converter control algorithm implementation on digital / FPGA platform.
