Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project associate to work in the project funded by SERB-DST, IIT Mandi, on temporary basis.

Project Title: Study and Design of Broad-Band Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) structures for various RF and Microwave Applications

Coordinator: Dr. Gopi Shrikanth Reddy (School of Computing and Electrical Engg.)

Funding agency: Initially School of Computing and Electrical Engineering -IIT Mandi, Finally SERB-DST

Salary: 20,000/- Per month

Duration: Initially for 6 Months, Extendable for 1 Year depending on candidate’s performance and availability of funds

Essential Qualification: ME/M.tech/ MS (by Research) or equivalent in (Electrical, Electronics,
Electronics -and Communications or related areas) with 70% or 7 CGPA

Desirable:

• Valid Gate Score* card in EC *(this is not mandatory requirement for those who have done their post-graduation (ME/M.tech/ MS (by Research) as mentioned above)
• Good background on EM theory, Solution of Maxwell’s Equations, Boundary Conditions, Wave Propagation, Antennas concepts
• Hands-on Matlab, Simulation Software like CST Microwave studio (both time and Frequency Domain). HFSS, FeKO etc.
• Good command over English language and technical writing in English
