Essential Qualifications:First class in B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with not less than 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on point scale and First claa M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with not less than 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale with specialization in Design/CAD-CAM.

Desirable:Candidate must have sound knowledge of solid mechanics,finite element method.Programming skills,algorithm development for numerical methods and experience of ANSYS/MATLAB Programming is highly desirable.

Emoluments: Consolidated salary amounting Rs.25000/-pm for 2 years and RS.28000/-pm for third year.

Sponsor: This is a project with national and international collaborations. Outstanding performing students can get an opportunity to visit collaborator’s laboratories in Delhi University and McMaster University, Canada.

Tenure of the Project: One year with extension for second year based on the performance.

Essential Qualifications: M.Tech. or M.Sc. ( with GATE or NET) in physics/chemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics. GATE or NET qualification is mandatory for JRF positions. For project assistant only MSc in any of the above mentioned subject is mandatory
